If you find yourself in Twentynine Palms, you must visit Thai Cafe Twentynine Palms. Nestled conveniently off the 29 Palms Highway, this Thai gem offers a delightful escape with its flavorful array of dishes. Customers rave about the exceptional quality of the food, often highlighting favorites like the Tom Kha soup, known as "the best ever" by some, and the rich, aromatic duck curry and crab fried rice.
The atmosphere is casual, making it an ideal spot to relax after hiking in the nearby Joshua Tree National Park. Service is described as friendly and accommodating, although it tends to be average at times—yet the generous portions more than make up for it. First and foremost, great food!! The atmosphere is fairly casual, so probably not a date night sort of thing, but if you’ve just spent the day in Joshua Tree this is the perfect dinner. Service was average, but the food made up for it.

Food was so delicious! We are from San Francisco so we are picky with Thai foods but we loved everything we got! The Tom kha soup was delicious, duck curry, crab fried rice and pad thai were all so yummy! Portions were also very generous and service was superb!

We stopped by here for lunch after hiking today. We ordered pad sew yew and won sen noodles. Both tasted delicious. The server was very friendly and nice. Good place to have Thai food here!

We enjoyed a salad and various tofu and vegetable dishes including fried dumplings, Tom Ka soup (the best I’ve ever had!), Pad Thai, and Pad Woon Sen. The food and the service were excellent. Portions were generous, we had plenty of leftovers for another meal at home.

I'm still raving about the incredible dining experience. As vegans, we were thrilled to discover a plethora of delicious plant-based options. The spicy noodles and panang curry were absolute standouts - rich, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The staff ensured our meal was vegan-friendly. The restaurant itself was clean, welcoming, and provided a wonderful ambiance. If you're a vegan (or just a foodie!) looking for authentic, mouth-watering Thai cuisine, look no further! This place truly delivers. We can't wait to come back!

We came in a group of 9 and it was great food, except we found 3 hairs in it. But the food came in seconds and everything was amazing. I would recommend this as this is one of the best Thai places I've been to.

Nice casual dine in Thai food restaurant. We came around 7:30pm and they were decently busy. Parking is in the back and you can enter from the back of the building. I got the pad see ew with beef. Food was delicious!! I saw tons of mobile orders from this place too. Great place to eat near the Joshua tree national Park entrance.

I love trying Thai food from different cities while exploring Thai cuisine across the states. I stopped by this place after visiting Joshua Tree, and it didn't disappoint at all. The pork salted (I think it's fried dried pork) was really tasty and authentic. The beef noodle soup was also delicious—the beef was tender, the meatballs were high quality, and the portions were generous. I usually don't comment on service, but it could have been much better.
